Parliament’s role in the domestication and implementation of regional and international Human Rights Instruments
13 – 16 September, Montclair Hotel, Nyanga, Zimbabwe.

The Roundtable discussion on the role of parliament in the domestication and implementation of regional and international human rights instruments was held at Montclair Hotel, Nyanga from the 13th to the 16th of September 2007.

A total of 19 members of parliament and their secretariat attended the workshop. The goal of the workshop was to enhance the skills of parliamentarians in the domestication and implementation of human rights instruments. The workshop was held for the Justice, legal and Parliamentary Affairs Portfolio Committee. It was officially opened by Hon. K. Kangai, the deputy speaker of the House of Assembly.
